Man jailed for breaking 32 bones in girlfriend's baby

  James Laidlaw, 22 year old was jailed for 19 years after leaving his girlfriend's six-month-old son with 32 broken bones. He abused the defenceless tot over a three-month period.
Warwick Crown Court in the UK heard he broke both of the baby's legs and arms and nearly every rib in his body.

Nurses said the boy went 'wide-eyed with fear' whenever there was a loud noise or someone approached him.
The baby is now in the care of the govt.
The infant was taken to University Hospital Coventry by his mother Tiffany Hilton in May last year when he was five months old.

Tests were carried out for suspected bronchiolitis but x-rays revealed he had suffered numerous fractures.
Medical evidence showed the first assaults probably took place when the tot was just two weeks old.
He also had a damaged spine consistent with a fall from a first-floor window - caused when he was thrown across the room.
Evil Laidlaw was jailed for 19 years after being convicted of GBH with intent.
Hilton, 27, was locked up for three years for failing to protect her son.
Both defendants, who live in Coventry, were also convicted of child cruelty following a trial.
Jailing the couple, Judge Sylvia de Bertodano said:
"He sustained a really shocking set of injuries. "A total of 32 broken bones including both arms, both legs and all the ribs on one side, most of them in two places

A stowaway was nearly poisoned after squeezing into a car's hidden compartment in a bid to get out of Morocco.
The man managed to hide in a false compartment created between the back seats of a car and the boot, which police described as one of the smallest spaces they have ever seen.
Border control officers checking vehicles at the Spanish port of Algeciras in Cadiz said the man could easily have died because of the exhaust fumes given off during the journey.
According to Daily Mirror,a Police spokesman said "the size of the interior had been extensively modified, endangering the physical integrity of the young man because of the accumulated gases in such an enclosed space," He would have been unable to free himself from the space and would have relied totally on the driver to let him in or out.

A couple who dream of becoming parents have decided to undergo weight loss surgery - because they're to fat to have sex.

The lovebirds, who have been married since 2010, have a combined weight of 63 stone.

Lin Yue and his wife Deng Yang reveal that married life had been difficult right from the start when, they said, they could not find a wedding dress big enough for the bride and had to have one specially made.

The pair who both work in south-west China’s Sichuan Province this week travelled to Changchun, capital of north-eastern Jilin Province, in order to undergo treatment for rapid weight loss.

They hope gastric bypass surgery will help them in their fight against morbid obesity, which they have now decided to tackle in order to one day have a child .

Deng said the dream of becoming a parent alone was enough for them to want to try to lose weight.

But they said they were inspired to take the step together after reading about a woman known as the heaviest person in China, who last month also underwent a gastric bypass to help her fight obesity.

The couple, who are both 30, describe themselves as being as wide as they are tall.
