Mastercard Redesigns Its Logo To Portray Digital Next-Gen Age Transition

Mastercard 💳 recently updated their brand identity logo in a move that represents Mastercard's transition to a more digital next-generation age (basically reflecting the simple, connected and modern Mastercard services).
Mastercard is going digital after the rollout of the MasterPass digital wallet.

The MasterPass service works with merchants and banks to deliver an omni channel digital payment service with features of the MasterPass service including:

> Authentication of payments through fingerprints scanners
> Authentication of payments through selfies 😎.

MasterPass service is set to be available to intending users on their mobile smartphones 📱, smartwatches (wearables) phablets as well as tablets.

Quoting Mastercard's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Raja Rajamannar on this:

“Mastercard is one of those unique brands that is instantly recognizable around the world.
To thrive in this new digital world where business moves faster than ever, we want to modernize and elevate the brand in a design that is simple and elegant, yet unquestionably Mastercard.
We’ve been on a fantastic trajectory, with digital technology being an increasingly important part of our business.
Now it’s time for our brand to embody the company we’ve become.”

Personally I don't think the new logo is bad, looks cool...
