Former Federation of International Football Association instructor,
Adegboye Onigbinde, has called on the Amaju Pinnick-led board of the
Nigeria Football Federation to explain what Nigeria stand to gain from
the visit of FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
Infantino alongside FIFA Secretary General, Fatma Samoura, arrived in Abuja on Sunday.
They were received on arrival by NFF President Pinnick, Secretary General Mohammed Sanusi, first vice president Syi Akinwunmi and other members of the NFF Executive Committee.
In a chat with Completesportsnigeria.com, Onigbinde stated that since it was the idea of the NFF to invite Infantino, Nigerians have the right to know how the visit will impact football in the country.
“I think that is left for our administrators (importance of Gianni Infantino’s visit). They knew why they invited him. They should tell us what we stand to gain,” the former Super Eagles coach said.
