List of all completed transfers in 2017/18 Premier League Summer Transfer

It's over. We can finally stop talking about whether Alexis Sanchez will move to Manchester City and whether Antoine Griezmann will move across the city to United. For a few months at least. For now, it's back to the football - after the international break of course - as the transfer deadline closed at 11pm on Thursday night. Real Madrid Set to Unveil Legendary Former Striker as Assistant General Manager

Real Madrid will unveil former Spain striker Raul Gonzales as their new Assistant General Manager early next month, per Spanish source AS. Raul, who spent 16 years at the Santiago Bernabeu, will be handed the role on July 3, and will report to Florentino Perez's right-hand man Jose Angel Sanchez.
Sanchez has a hand in a lot of the club's dealings, including transfer negotiations, player contracts, economic strategy and international brand development.  Raul is said to have gained a lot of business experience living in New York over the past few years, and that - coupled with his status in the football world - makes him the right man for the job, according to Sanchez.
The 39-year-old retired from playing in 2015, ending his career with the New York Cosmos. He has since worked as an ambassador for La Liga, and also studied sports business in the U.S.
It was initially thought that Raul would take over the youth system at Valdebas following Víctor Fernandez's departure, but it now looks like Ramon Martinez and Juni Calafat will be the ones to oversee youth development at the club. He will, however, act as a go-between for the squad and club's directors.
The ex-forward made 550 appearances for Madrid, helping them win six league titles and three Champions League trophies.

LEAKED: Chelsea Kits for 2017/18 Show Slick Design Following Their Move From Adidas to Nike

Chelsea's kits for the 2017/18 season appear to have been leaked online by the Mirror, showing their sleek designs after switching from Adidas to Nike.  Nike signed a contract with the Londoners midways through last season in 15-year deal worth £60m per season, ending their partnership with Adidas.
And fans won't be disappointed with their new design, as Nike have gone for a "less is more" effect, creating three beautifully looking kits.
The home kit is a deep shade of blue with slightly lighter sleeves, changing from their v-neck last season to a crew neck.  The away kit is mainly white with blue panels down the side, but the third kit is the knockout punch. A black coloured shirt with a faint camoflauge print, matched up with a light blue trim on the sleeves.

Costa not in Conte's plan for next season

"I'm a Chelsea player, but they do not want me there. Conte has sent me a message that I will not continue at Chelsea and that's it. Conte said he will not count on me for next season." These were the words uttered by Diego Costa to the media this week as his whirlwind Chelsea career draws to a close after just three seasons at Stamford Bridge. In the days that have followed, AS in Spain have learned the exact content of the message in question and have shared for the world to see just how Antonio Conte went about telling his title winning top goalscorer that his services were no longer required. "Hi Diego, I hope you are well. Thanks for the seasono [sic] we spent together. Good luck for the next year but you are not in my plan," the breezy but rather blunt text read. It is said that Costa's response was nothing more than just 'OK'. While Conte retains the support from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich - the Russian billionaire is said to have ended the direct lines of communication to him previously enjoyed by the likes of John Terry and Didier Drogba, preventing Costa from going over the manager's head in a bid to stay - the Italian's off-book message hasn't pleased the club hierarchy. With Costa's decision to go public, Chelsea's selling position has been significantly weakened. It is now actively known that they are keen to get him of the player, which harms their ability to command a good price, while Costa has proof that the club has instigated his now inevitable exit and could therefore be entitled to a departing loyalty bonus.

Cristiano Ronaldo Equals Top Scorer Record

Real Madrid superstar struck twice in a win over Sevilla which moved him past Gerd Muller and into a tie atop the list

Cristiano Ronaldo is on the brink of history after scoring twice on Sunday to tie with Jimmy Greaves as the all-time top scorer in Europe’s five biggest leagues.

His first goal in Sunday’s win against Sevilla, his 400th strike for Real Madrid, tied him with Gerd Muller for second. His second pushed him past the German legend and level with Greaves.

Ronaldo’s next goal will put him at 367, one more than the Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur legend amassed over 14 years playing in England and Italy. Ronaldo scored 84 Premier League goals for Manchester United before signing with Real Madrid and adding 282 league goals and counting to that total.

Lionel Messi lurks behind as the highest-ranked active player behind Ronaldo. The Barcelona goalscorer has found the back of the net 346 times since his 2004 debut. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the next active player on the list, with his 268 goals putting him at 11th. His goals in England, Spain, Italy and France make him the only player in the top 20 to score in three or more leagues.

Ronaldo could find himself alone at the top of the chart as soon as Wednesday when Madrid travel to face Celta Vigo in Liga action.

Chinese Super League Club Lodge Offer for Second Chelsea Star Ahead of Huge Summer Outlay

Chelsea captain John Terry has been offered a deal to likely join teammate Diego Costa in making a big-money move to the Chinese Super League this summer, according to the Sun. Terry has confirmed he will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of his current deal, but is expected to carry on playing with a number of other clubs interested.
The likes of Stoke and Bournemouth have been talked up as potential Premier League destinations, but Chinese outfit Tianjin Quanjian are also in the frame. Tianjin are expected to seal a deal to sign Blues striker Diego Costa when the season ends, with the Spanish international earning a staggering €30m-a-year. French channel SFR Sport have since claimed Chelsea have told Costa's suitors that their asking price for the striker is an incredible €150m. While the two clubs continue to negotiate over a fee, it's reported that Tianjin will also make a play to Terry to give him one final pay day before he decides to retire from the game. They are ready to come up with a lucrative two-year deal to tempt the former England captain over to Asia.

FRIENDS WITH BENEFIT: THE TRUTH & THE 7 RULES

The great thirst for sex without strings attached will continue to put the trend of friends with benefit in existence. People go into it as a result of sexual urges they want to act upon without being in the real deal (the boyfriend/girlfriend kind). The deal is one that allows both parties to have other sexual partners without anyone getting jealous or feeling cheated but that’s the greatest lie anyone can tell themselves in a friends with benefits relationship. That’s the purpose of this piece – to tell you the truth and the rules.
e1d5a5810a5c37f204b5b5efd264f072

1. State your terms and conditions (define the relationship).

When going into a business partnership, the terms and conditions are clearly spelt out in a way both partners understand clearly and grievances are settled. In the case of FWB, the terms and conditions should be spelt out and should only be agreed to if both partners can deal with what it entails. That’s the first challenge most FWB relationships face – no terms and conditions.

A lot of people are in FWB relationships and they just don’t realise it yet. Some people don’t even know they’re in a FWB relationship because they’ve mistaken likeness for love or because the partner is fond of them, it means “something”.
“Always be sure that person is obviously single not by assuming but by observation and asking questions because you don’t want the main chick or the main guy coming to take back their “possession” after you already thought you own them.”
One should clearly define all forms all relationships they want to go into before they go into it, no one wants to waste their time, energy, resources and emotions with anyone who was never on the same page with them.

2. Don’t be emotional, don’t catch feelings

We always tell ourselves that it’s just going to be sex, nothing more but then you see yourself getting jealous when he or she receives a call that seems romantic or when he or she has to spend time with other people asides you. If you’re an emotional person, you shouldn’t be in this kind of relationship. It’s for people who have “gangster” emotions; Individuals who can overlook things and never speak about them. Whether you admit it or not, sex is a big deal and can bring about unplanned emotional feelings.

3. Don’t always say how you feel (you don’t need to have “the talk”).

FWB partners should know that FWB is just what it is: friends with benefits. No future, no talking too much, it’s just business. It’s not a relationship where you and your partner can have “the talk” every now and then because it’s not that deep.

4. You don’t need to know what they’re doing when you’re not with them.

You should also be un-bothered about the people they spend time with when you’re not with them, they’re not obliged to tell you about the “other things” they’re doing. You should try not to complain about things you can’t deal because that’s probably why they have you even though they have other partners, it might make them want to end it if the difference between you and their partners isn’t much.
rules

5. Your FWB partner shouldn’t be your only partner.

Going into a FWB relationship as a single person isn’t what I would advise someone to do especially when the partner you’re going into it with isn’t single, you’re going to be doing yourself a lot of harm. Not having other (or another) sexual partner(s) in a FWB relationship means you would be putting your all into the relationship and you shouldn’t be doing that in a relationship that clearly has no future.

6. Don’t think it would ever get serious, if it was meant to be, it should have been.

Another mistake people in FWB relationships make is thinking that the relationship would ever get “serious”. Honey, if it didn’t start on a serious note, it would most likely never get to a serious level. The fact that he or she had a serious partner and the relationship ended doesn’t mean you would be their next option for something serious. It doesn’t work that way, if it was meant to be a serious relationship, it would have been. The probability that your FWB relationship would ever get serious is like half over one thousand. Before his or her “main” relationship ended, they probably already have someone they’re considering to be “serious relationship material” so instead of getting your hopes up, get yourself something serious too.

10 years ago, Kim Kardashian and Ray J‘s sex tape leaked, and it’s safe to say that everything changed after that moment. Well, at least for Kim and her family. As for the rest of us, we’ve felt the impact of the Kardashianification to the world. And to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Kim Kardashian, here are 10 ways the world has changed as a result of the skin flick…

Reality shows became the new must-see TV

Since Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered in 2007, the world of entertainment has seen an explosion in reality TV.
From Shark Tank to The Voice to Love & Hip Hop, Kim and her family helped bring reality TV from guilty pleasure to mainstream entertainment.
Although there has been news of KUWTK views crashing, that wouldn’t kill the brand they’ve built through the years.

Making the ‘selfie’ popular

Social media has proven to be one of Kim’s most valuable assets and she has managed to make news, and millions, by doing nothing more than posting selfies to her Instagram page.
The trend has caught on to the point where in 2013, the Oxford English Dictionary named ‘selfie’ the word of the year. What other reality star can say they basically invented a word?

Paris Hilton basically disappeared; like girl, BYE!

While Kim’s sex tape was her coming out party, she was first introduced to the world as a member of Paris Hilton‘s Beverly Hills entourage, when she worked as an assistant for the hotel heiress.
Since Kim became a superstar (seemingly overnight), Paris took her L with grace and pretty much disappeared into relative anonymity.
Apparently, there was some behind-the-scenes drama between the former friends, but they’ve since resolved it.

She paved the way for the likes of Trump’s presidency

Many have called Donald Trump the ‘Reality TV President,’ as he also gained much of his fame and influence through his hit show, The Apprentice, and via his overworked Twitter fingers.
Just as Kim dominates the 24-hour celebrity news cycle, Trump was able to dominate the 24-hour political news cycle throughout his campaign.

Butt implants went mainstream (and it has since become the new cool)

While there’s nothing new about an appreciation for big derrieres, particularly for blacks, Kim took the feature ‘mainstream’ and appropriated it for profit.
Celebrities like Heidi Montag, Iggy Azalea and Kim’s own sister, Kylie prove that (rumoured) butt implants amongst white celebrities are certainly on the rise.
She turned Cornrows into ‘Boxer Braids’

Remember when braiding hair into narrow strips close to the scalp was called ‘cornrows’? Like, for decades?
Well, since Kim decided to appropriate the style that Blacks have worn for generations, she rebranded it as ‘boxer braids.’ And guess what? That’s what they now call it.
She created the new (not so improved) Kanye

Since Kanye got married to Kim in 2014, we have seen Kanye become a tabloid sideshow, complete with public outbursts, meltdowns, and much more.
In the words of his friend Donnie Trump: SAD!
She proved that nudity is not just for Playboy

We’ve come a long way since Kim’s nervous Playboy shoot during the first season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Thanks to her, nude is no longer a taboo — and the more exposure, the better.
Athletes have never been more famous
Kim and Reggie bush
The Kardashian girls’ affinity for athlete boyfriends means the mainstream public who couldn’t tell a touchdown from a layup now know more professional athletes’ names than ever before.
James Harden, Miles Austin, Reggie Bush, Lamar Odom, Kris Humphries and more will be able to cash in on their Kardashian connections for years to come.
Sex (tape) sells!

It is hard to underestimate how much of her career Kim owes to her sex tape, so it comes as no surprise that many other D-list celebrities, reality stars, socialites and regular folks have tried her business model out for themselves.
Farrah Abraham and Mimi Faust are just two of the stars that tried to turn a skin flick into mega $$$ like Kim.

5 Things Every Nigerian Lady Can Learn From Bobrisky

Despite the fact that you might be one of Bobrisky's haters, there’s actually some pointers you can learn from him.

The self-acclaimed Nigerian king of Snapchat is generally perceived as ‘dumb’ by a lot of people but he has to be a special kind of dimwit to have achieved the kind of fame and attention that he gets and moreso, keep on leash a ‘bae’ who spends money on him like it’s going out of fashion.
That said ladies, here are five important lessons you can learn from Bobrisky.
  • Your makeup always have to be pengThis is one of the most important things Bobrisky has taught us. You can’t be walking about with a badly done makeup. That is very disrespectful not just to yourself but to everyone who might be unfortunate enough to run into you. If you haven’t learnt how to get your makeup on fleek, then please and please, make sure you have a professional makeup artist on speed dial.
  • Anything that’s worth doing is worth doing well: You might have come across those photos with his hands looking darker than the rest of him but that is just the handwork of “haters”. As he has frequently shown us on his Instagram, his whole body is evenly toned and blemish-free. Lesson? If you’re going to bleach, bleach well.
  • Keep your “bae” away from social media: If you’re one of those girls who always flaunt every man they date on social media, please do yourself a favour and stop. We don’t need to know who you’re sleeping with. Be like Bobrisky who as much as he talks about his bae, nobody truly knows who he or she is. That way, you don’t have to worry about losing him to ‘Instagram honeys’.
  • Don’t forget to tell yourself you’re beautiful: Even when nobody else does or agrees, you have to remind yourself that you’re beautiful. If you say it loud enough and often enough, you start believing it.
Learn how to whine your waist! Hundreds of thousands camp out on Bobrisky’s Snapchat daily just to catch a glimpse of him whining his waist. If this doesn’t tell you that there is power in the waist, girl, I don’t know what else to tell you

Signs that your crush will break your heart

heart break

Dating can feel like you are walking through a minefield — you never know who is going to work and who is going to break your heart. Take a look at these signs before it’s too late:
1. He asks for your number, but never calls
Keep in mind that sometimes guys ask for your number without ever having the intention of calling — it’s totally normal. But those (obviously) aren’t the type of guys that you want to spend your time with.
2. He just wants to play cat and mouse games
Some men just LOVE the thrill of the chase. It’ll involve a ton of chemistry, but he’ll avoid getting too attached. Guys like this like to play the field and they love the game — they aren’t looking for a committed relationship.
3. He acts like your boyfriend, but he never commits
The most hurtful of them all, and probably the most frustrating, is the guy who acts like your boyfriend and never commits. In hindsight, thank goodness he didn’t! These guys are commitment-phobic.
4. He says he doesn’t believe in marriage
When man tells you he doesn’t believe in marriage when you WANT to be married it’s a very important decision-point for you. There are only two reasons why he will say this; either he genuinely DOESN’T believe in marriage or he doesn’t want to marryyou. Either way, you’re not going to get what you want. Instead of sticking around, cut your losses and go find what you do want. Yes it’s scary, but it’s worth it.
What really makes you hurt is not the guy’s actions — they aren’t necessarily out to get you — but it hurts so much because you sacrificed a part of yourself and your ideals for him. It’s important that you don’t deny yourself and that you remain true to yourself. So if you’re dating a man right now and it’s not feeling right or you feel like he’s going to hurt you in the long run, maybe try taking a look at how you both line up.

RECIPE : Nigeria Pepper Soup

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuKsxRthLI5rCQVIGV3TpHT3NyKFcdrQ7kz67umv3OdWAhuxEGJY3FO4JDUvcPUe6uc3DMSwyhPu1gbLOSC4XPOVkusvpRwGBHQFQLZfKrgjqAAC49i9QyzZQ-eJnaGyjFPBR_0duWg7Q/s1600/Nigerian+Catfish+Peppersoup+fresh+fish+pepper+soup+point+and+kill+nigerian+peppersoup+3.JPG
Nigerian Catfish Pepper Soup (popularly known as Point & Kill) is that Nigerian pepper soup that is usually eaten at exclusive Nigerian bars and restaurants.

Even if you can get Nigerian Pepper Soup in any road side restaurant, you'll need to dig deep to find restaurants where you can have the correct Point & Kill.
So why is it called Point & Kill? LOL Usually when a group of guests arrive at these exclusive bars and order Catfish Pepper Soup, at least one of the group will need to go to a big bowl where some live catfish are swimming around and point out a catfish. The catfish will then be killed in the guest's presence and taken away for preparation. So you see; you point and it is killed for you! lol

Ingredients for Catfish Pepper Soup

  • 500g Cat Fish
  • 4 Ehu or Ariwo or Calabash Nutmeg seeds
  • Habanero Pepper or chilli pepper (to taste)
  • A few scent leaves
  • 2 medium onions
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 big stock cubes

Alternative Ingredients for Catfish Pepper Soup

  1. Conger Eel (Congrio in Spanish) is a good alternative to catfish. When buying the Conger Eel, ensure you buy the part towards the tail so that the fish cuts will not have big holes in them.
  2. Parsley is a good alternative to scent leaves.

Before you cook the Nigerian Catfish Pepper Soup

  1. To prepare Cat Fish Pepper Soup, wash and cut the cat fish into 1-inch thick slices. Boil some hot water and pour on the pieces of fish, stir and remove immediately. This toughens the skin of the fish so that it does not fall apart during cooking.
  2. Now it is time to prepare the 'secret' ingredient. Using an old frying pan, roast the Ehu seeds (stirring constantly) till you can smell it. Don't worry you will know when it is OK to take it off because it has a distinctive aroma. Another way to know that it is OK is to take one of the seeds and try to remove the outer membrane. If the membrane comes off easily, then the Ehu is done.
  3. Peel off the membrane from all the Ehu seeds and grind with a dry mill.
  4. Cut the onions into tiny pieces.
  5. Wash and pick the scent leaves and tear them up with your fingers into small pieces.

Cooking Directions

  1. Place the pieces of fish in a pot and pour water to just cover the fish, add the stock cubes and bring to the boil.
  2. Once it starts to boil add the ground ehu, onions and scent leaves and continue cooking.
  3. Once the catfish is done, add salt to taste and leave to simmer for about 5 minutes and it's ready!
Catfish Pepper Soup should always be served hot. It can be eaten alone with a chilled drink

6 Tech Habits You Should Ditch, No 6 Is A Life Saver!!!

Technology is an important part of your lives. We can barely do without it. Consequently, you have developed some perennial habits that we find it difficult to give it up.
Notwithstanding the fact it is affecting your productivity and routine, you still find it had to break it. , Jumia Travel shares 6 tech habits you should put a stop to.

bad habits

TECH HABITS YOU REALLY SHOULD PUT A STOP TO

  • Never restarting your computer

Consistently, leaving your computer in sleep or standby mode won’t affect your computer, but it will slow it down. Thus, restarting your computer is a smart way to kill all the background processes that may be making your computer slow. Embrace the habit of completely shutting down or restarting your computer every once in a while.

  • Using the same password for everything

This is a habit that you really need to drop because it makes you susceptible to hacking. Understandably, you don’t want to forget your password which is a key reason why you use same passwords for your accounts. To be safe, vary the passwords of your accounts as we enter 2017.

  • Clicking refresh on your email constantly

Whether you are waiting for an important email or not, you should not refresh your email every second. It is better to continue working on other things and check your email intermittently.

  • Sitting too close to the screen

Many of us are guilty of this. We have the tendency of sitting too close to our computer not for a few minutes but for hours. It’s best to sit straight during the day with good posture.

  • Eating as you work on a computer

Eating and working at the same time will no doubt affect your output. It is advisable to either do your work and eat later or eat first then focus on your work. Better still, you can take a break to eat. You will not have to eat in piecemeal which you definitely won’t enjoy.

  • Driving and using your phone

Driving and using your phone can easily distract you and eventually cause avoidable accidents. It is better to concentrate on the road and ignore your phone

Special forces, or special operations forces are military units extremely trained to perform unconventional, typically insecure missions for a nation’s political, economic or military purposes.
